Rajya Sabha Member and Rajbanshi leader Nagendra Roy and Cooch Behar district BJP president Sukumar Roy and two other MLAs accompanied Mr Pramanik, who was elected as an MP from Cooch Behar in 2019.
Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stressed the need to involve the students and youths in achieving the common goal of Vikshit Bharat towards building a developed India by 2047.
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs as well as Youth Affairs and Sports Nisith Pramanik has said Cooch Behar residents will observe another Diwali on 22 January, 2024 to mark the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
