In addition to the performances by 'Safaikarmis', school students from Navyug School and Atal Adarsh Vidhyalaya also participated, demonstrating their extracurricular talents and commitment to the cause of cleanliness.
Saxena issued the direction after he chaired a meeting to review air pollution in the national capital, as per the LG office.
The MoA was signed by NDMC Chief Engineer Sanjay Arora and CRRI Director Manoranjan Parida in the presence of senior officers.
The Suvidha Camp was organised by the NDMC to provide information, facilitation and grievances redresses for the benefit of its residents.
“With the aim to prevent the water logging incidents in the ongoing monsoon season, NDMC has launched an intensive drive from 20th July to 22nd July to check and clean all the bell mouths alongside roads in its jurisdiction,” the civic body said.
Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena, on Friday, distributed letters of promotion and financial benefits to New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) employees under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 100-day action plan.
A total of 94 grievances were received from the public by the officers concerned during the camp.
The camp, scheduled to start at 10.30 am “Jan Suvidha Portal”, will conclude at 12.30 pm.
The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has notified the appointment of Lok Sabha MP Bansuri Swaraj as a member of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC).
