Announcing a black flag protest across the state on Thursday to condemn the delimitation amendment being brought by the Modi government, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president MK Stalin has warned that "the price you will pay will be heavy,” unless the move is not given up.
Expressing concerns over the shortage of the LPG supply on Wednesday, Gehlot said in a social media post on X that as usual the Modi government demonstrated carelessness and insensitive attitude.
“The Union BJP government had dumped the MGNREGA, which remained the backbone of the rural economy and replaced it with a new one. They are doing this since they have hatred for the Mahatma and a dislike for the people’s welfare,” he said, addressing a government function at Karaikudi in Sivaganga district.

Priyanka made these remarks after the Modi government on Tuesday hiked the price of LPG cylinders by Rs 25 following which a domestic cylinder would now cost Rs 859 per household in the national Capital. The price has been hiked in similar proportion across the country.

The Ministry will work to streamline processes for ‘Ease of doing business’ for co-operatives and enable development of Multi-State Co-operatives (MSCS).
This ministry will provide a separate administrative, legal and policy framework for strengthening the cooperative movement in the country.
