For men's wear, Manish offered a variety of jackets with beaded lapels or silver shawl collars. He teamed the conventional or jodhpuri jackets with kurtas and added discreet, animal motif embroidery for the Sherwanis.
"The collection is so diverse, it's ethnic yet modern, experimental and fun. It felt great to play the bride of Manish Malhotra, especially when there is no bridegroom involved (giggles). I love Manish, his clothes, and his vibe."
Malhotra designed Kajol's costumes in the film, and from her ethnic suits to the shiny green lehnga she wore in the song "Mehndi lagake rakhna", almost all costumes he created for the actress went on to become a rage.
Malhotra will be part of the second edition of "Myntra Fashion Superstar" on MTV, starting in September.
