Homegrown microblogging platform Koo on Wednesday announced that it has become the second largest microblog available to the world. Launched in March 2020, the platform recently clocked 50 million downloads and has seen an upward trajectory in terms of growth.
Home-grown social media platform Koo announced the launch of four unique new features on Friday. A company statement said the app had enabled users to upload up to 10 profiles, save a Koo, schedule a Koo, and save drafts.
The first leg of the Journey, covering 4000 km, will bring prominent temples and spiritual centres from across Uttarakhand digitally closer to devotees.
As a neutral, transparent and reliable platform, Koo stands committed to free and fair elections and abides by the Election Commission of India (ECI) guidelines.
Cheteshwar Pujara took to Koo and said "Toss/ dew definitely played a role, but I felt Shaheen's opening spell set the tone for the game".
Koo is the first social media platform in the world to enable this tech-driven translation feature.
Founded by Radhakrishna and Mayank Bidawatka, Koo was launched last year to allow users to express themselves and engage on the platform in Indian languages.
Koo has previously stated that it has already complied with India's IT rules enforced last month and that it has shared necessary details as sought by the government on the issue.
Koo has garnered nearly 60 lakh downloads in just a year of operations.
The MeitY had announced it's draft new IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules for social media platforms on February 25.
