Barely a month before the completion of his tenure, the former Controller of Examinations of Kanyashree University was removed from service ~ a move that has now snowballed into a serious controversy, with the ousted official levelling a barrage of allegations against the university’s present Vice-Chancellor.
Kanyashree University welcomed its newly admitted students with a Student Orientation Programme at its Academic Campus on Monday, in which the institution’s emphasis on holistic education, discipline and social responsibility at the outset of university life were highlighted.
Professor (Dr) Tapati Chakraborty, vice-chancellor of Kanyashree University, was today conferred the Siksharatna award by the state government in recognition of her contribution to higher education and research.
Kanyashree University’s department of law organised a legal awareness programme today, at the university’s academic campus seminar hall.
