Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday blamed the Raj Bhavan for the prevailing uncertainty.

PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti scored a major victory as her party’s candidate, Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi, defeated NC nominee Aga Syed Mahmood Al-Mosavi in the Budgam bypoll by a convincing margin.
“This decision has not been made by the cabinet, nor has the education minister signed off on it. We should decide what happens in our schools without outside dictation on these matters,” Omar told reporters.
As Omar completes 12 months in office as CM on Thursday, his government finds itself under growing scrutiny, accused of falling short on the sweeping promises that helped the National Conference (NC) return to power in the Union territory.
The Chief Minister made these remarks while addressing the National Executive Committee Meeting of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in Srinagar.
The Chief Minister made this announcement while interacting with residents of Duggain, Billawar, whose houses and livelihoods were severely impacted by the recent flooding.
“Tourism is one part of our growth story, but the other part that requires equal attention is industrialisation,” Omar Abdullah said while interacting with business leaders.
The chief minister also warned that the fragmented land holdings, depleting water resources and the unchecked use of chemical-based fertilizers are issues that demand urgent course correction.
