Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday blamed the Raj Bhavan for the prevailing uncertainty.

PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti scored a major victory as her party’s candidate, Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi, defeated NC nominee Aga Syed Mahmood Al-Mosavi in the Budgam bypoll by a convincing margin.
“This decision has not been made by the cabinet, nor has the education minister signed off on it. We should decide what happens in our schools without outside dictation on these matters,” Omar told reporters.
Under the scheme, students enrolled for these courses will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.1000, while instructors conducting theory and practical classes will be paid a monthly remuneration of Rs.15,000 and Rs.12,000, respectively.
The chief minister warned that any haste in conducting the SIR could raise questions about the ECI’s independence and credibility.
The Chief Minister cut the ceremonial ribbon and declared the garden open to the public, describing it as “a floral celebration that adds a new chapter to Kashmir’s tourism story.”
Talking to media persons in Srinagar, he denied cross voting by the NC members. The party won three seats, while the fourth seat went to the BJP due to “betrayal” of certain MLAs.
Rejecting allegations of cross-voting by the ruling National Conference (NC) MLAs in the polling for four Rajya Sabha seats from Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister and NC vice-president Omar Abdullah on Friday said that the party’s votes had remained intact and questioned where the four extra votes for BJP president Sat Sharma came from.
