Himachal Pradesh Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi has strongly defended the state government's decision to shift the College of Horticulture and Forestry from Thunag to Sundernagar in Mandi district, stating that the move was made purely on safety grounds.
He accused the BJP of controlling the disqualified Congress MLAs and the three independent MLAs by inducement and intimidating them.
This was disclosed by Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi here on Monday, while addressing media persons.
The Minister said that cannabis cultivation not only ensures livelihood but can also be used for industrial and medicinal purposes on a large scale.
