The Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, hosted its Passing Out Parade (POP) today, marking the culmination of rigorous training for 239 trainees, including Midshipmen from the 107th Indian Naval Academy Course and cadets from various Naval Orientation Courses.
The Presidents Gold Medal for the Indian Naval Academy B. Tech course was awarded to Midshipman Mohit Bhurariya.
The parade was reviewed by Vice Admiral M A Hampiholi, AVSM, NM, Commandant, INA who awarded medals and trophy to meritorious trainees on completion of the Ceremonial Review.
Shri Ram Nath Kovind, the Hon’ble President of India and the Supreme Commander of Indian Armed Forces, awarded the President’s Colour to Indian Naval Academy (INA) at the ceremony hosted.
Vice Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, who has taken over as the Commandant of the Indian Naval Academy on promotion to the rank of Vice Admiral, is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Khadakvasala, Defence Services Staff College Wellington and US Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island.
The last date for submitting the application form is September 3 till 6 pm. The exam will take place on November 18.
