The Indian contingent is being represented mainly by troops from the Dogra Regiment. The Malaysian side is being represented by troops from the 25th Battalion of the Royal Malaysian Army.
"Had a great exchange of views with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim of Malaysia. India and Malaysia will continue to work together to diversify bilateral cooperation," Modi said in a post on X, highlighting the positive outcome of the meeting.
India and Malaysia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for strengthening cooperation in the field of Tourism.
At a joint press statement with his Malaysian counterpart Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim here after wide-ranging talks between them, Mr Modi noted that the Enhanced Strategic Partnership between the two countries is completing a decade.
The exercise encompasses a wide array of multi-domain operations in a sub-conventional environment.
Malaysia is a key trading partner of India in the Southeast Asian region.
