The West Indies and South Africa squads have finally received confirmation regarding their departure from India after their campaigns in the ICC T20 World Cup came to an end.
The first semi-final will see South Africa take on New Zealand at Eden Gardens on Wednesday, while defending champions India will meet England in the second semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday.

Team India all-rounder Harshit Rana has been ruled out of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 due to an injury, said sources. Harshit Rana was injured during Team India's T20 WC 2026 warm-up match against South Africa on Wednesday.
He was rested after the Adelaide Test with the Ashes secured, with a view to rebuilding for the T20 World Cup.
