J&K High Court quashes PSA detention of AAP MLA Mehraj Malik

The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh on Monday quashed the detention of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Mehraj Malik under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) and granted major relief to the legislator who was lodged in the Kathua jail since September last year.

Chief Justice takes stock of facilities for inmates in Srinagar central jail

The DG Prisons, on the occasion, assured the Chief Justice that for the decongestion of the Central Jail, Srinagar, appropriate steps will be taken at the earliest, besides assuring the construction of additional washrooms for the jail inmates.
