Police officials said the accident occurred around 2.50 am at Parshuram Chauraha when the victims were returning from the Sheetla Mata temple on the occasion of Ram Navami.
According to the police, the car occupants were residents of Bhind and were going towards Gwalior. The fatal mishap occurred on the Gwalior-Bhind highway near a roadside eatery at around 8 am.
The police continued to search for him, and after about two hours, he was cornered near a brick kiln in the Mohanpur area.
“The tractor driver was missing from the spot, but we have his number and are taking necessary action. The exact circumstances leading to this accident are still being investigated,” CSP Khan added.
