Young striker Louis Thomas Buffon, son of legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, has declared for the Czech national team.
"We are thrilled to welcome Gigi Buffon home, we are going to bring this legendary club back to its rightful place. Buffon's return is another validation of that ambition. It's a really special moment for all of us," said Kyle Krause, president of Parma.
During his initial 17 years long career at Juventus, Gianluigi Buffon had worked his way to become one of the best goalkeepers of this generation.
Notably, both Federer and Nadal have been enjoyed illustrious careers in tennis and have gone on to win 20 and 19 Grand Slam titles respectively.
Gianluigi Buffon screamed from the dugout watching his Paris Saint-Germain teammates crumble in the second half of Saturday's game.
Buffon also praised former Real Madrid's net minder Iker Casillas, who currently plays with Porto, saying that the Spaniard had been showing that he had something special.
Buffon, 40, is to continue as the Italian national team's goalkeeper.
The 40-year-old had earlier declared that the current season would be his last.
AC Milan and Lazio face each other on Wednesday in the second semi-final at the San Siro.
Buffon will now be in contention to face Chievo in Serie A action on Saturday.
