The development comes days after the BJP urged the poll panel to change the polling date on account of a long holiday.
Assembly elections in Haryana will be held in a single phase on 1st October. The counting of votes will take place on 4th October.
At least three representatives of each political party have been invited to meet the ECI at the Sher-e-Kashmir Convention Centre in Srinagar.
The ECI said the party is required to submit to it a report of contribution received in excess of Rs 20,000 in a financial year.
Polling is underway for four Assembly constituencies in West Bengal, with the Election Commission (EC) deciding to increase the deployment of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
The revision that aims at the registration of a maximum number of eligible first-time voters of 18 years and above will commence on 25 July and conclude on 20 August.
Later the CEC, ECs and senior officers of the poll panel visited Rajghat and paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi following successful conduct of the General Elections.
Voting for seven parliamentary seats, including North East Delhi constituency in Delhi, was held in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha polls on 25th May.
West Bengal recorded a high voter turnout at 16.64 per cent till 9 am, as per the data provided by the Election Commission.
