An official spokesperson of the ED said these raids were conducted on 1 June under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA).
“What is the urgency,” Justice Dhulia asked state government counsel, “You can always tell the high court that we will next hear it on 3rd July and till then....”
