Neeraj Chopra’s winning streak ended abruptly as just a week after becoming the new world champion he finished second in the javelin throw event

This will be Chopra's first event since the world championship silver and after missing the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham due to injury.
Neeraj Chopra today left for Zurich, hours after clinching a historic gold in the Asian Games here, to take part in the prestigious Diamond League Final on August 30.
Neeraj fouled his second round throw and came up with 83.39m in the third.
