Nearly a dozen cars were gutted in a fire that broke out in a garage in the wee hours of Wednesday in Dwarka, South West Delhi, police said.

According to Delhi Fire Services (DFS) Director Atul Garg, a call was received at 0619 am regarding a fire at a house in Street no. 1, Dharmveer Market, Badarpur and three fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
Saxena was reviewing the fire safety preparedness in the National Capital. He said for any regulation to succeed in achieving a purpose it has to be made compilable, else it just become a tool for harassment of common people.
