Delhi Police officials along with other investigative agencies are now examining aspects related to the hotel's ownership, operations, and safety standards.
According to the Delhi Fire Service, they received a call about the incident at around 4:45 pm. An official stated that five fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the spot.
On Saturday morning at around 5 pm, a fire broke out at Anaj Mandi on Rani Jhansi Road, Delhi killing 43 people. As per the reports, the fire broke out due to a short-circuit in a factory setting it ablaze.
