The night sky over Ayodhya transformed into a celestial canvas on Sunday as Deepotsav 2025 witnessed a breathtaking, choreographed musical drone show at Ram ki Paidi.
The sacred city of Ayodhya is coming alive with devotion and preparation as the final touches begin for Deepotsav 2025, one of India’s grandest festivals of light and faith.
Ashutosh Dwivedi, Advisor and Special Officer of the Ayodhya International Ramayana and Vedic Research Institute, said that this year, a grand stage, three medium stages, and seven smaller stages have been prepared.
The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that this year’s Deepotsav becomes an experience to remember.
The Shobhayatra, starting from Saket Mahavidyalaya, will showcase the seven Kands, Bal Kand, Ayodhya Kand, Aranya Kand, Kishkindha Kand, Sundar Kand, Lanka Kand, and Uttar Kand, each tableau uniquely illustrating the reason behind its title.
The ninth edition of Deepotsav marks a historic celebration—an International Ramlila featuring artistes from Russia, Thailand, Indonesia, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
Alongside these, folk arts and dances from various states will further enhance the splendor of this grand festival of lights.
The holy city of Ayodhya is preparing to shine once again in the divine glow of Deepotsav 2025. Over 26 lakh diyas will illuminate the Saryu ghats, and 2,100 devotees will join a collective maha aarti, setting two new world records.
These include Essay Writing, Poetry, Painting, and Short Animation Film contests, aimed at providing artists, students, and enthusiasts of all ages a platform to showcase their imagination and talent.
