The PIB Fact Check unit said Pakistani propaganda handles were circulating a doctored video to falsely attribute comments to General Upendra Dwivedi regarding India allegedly funding or engaging with the Taliban.
An FIR has been registered in this regard, according to sources, and the complaint, filed by Sanket Gupta, convenor of the BJP Delhi Election Cell, seeks immediate registration of an FIR and a thorough investigation into the matter, they said.
