The weather took a dramatic turn on Monday morning across several districts of Rajasthan, including Jaipur, Alwar, Dausa, and Didwana, as rain lashed here, bringing down the temperatures and causing a chill.
A police spokesman said that the threats were conveyed through e-mails in the passport offices in Bhilwara, Sikar, Jodhpur, Churu, Pratapgarh, Dausa, Bikaner, Barmer, Kota, Ajmer, Hanumangarh and Sriganganagar.
As many as 10 foreigners - of Nepal origin, believed to have links with the Tablighi Jamaat, were detained in Dausa of Rajasthan and subsequently deported for the neighbouring country on Saturday.
A hapless father chasing goons, who abducted his daughter, was beaten to death in Lalsot in Rajasthan's Dausa district, said police officials on Tuesday.
