The Department of Consumer Affairs' e-Jagriti platform has been conferred the Silver Award under the category "Government Process Re-engineering through Use of Technology for Digital Transformation" at the prestigious National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG) 2026, presented by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
As for J&K, Dr Jitendra Singh said the Department of Administrative Reforms DARPG in the Union Ministry of Personnel had helped J&K government to transit to e-Office, thereby saving crores of rupees incurred in transport of all the office files to and fro between Jammu and Srinagar during each Durbar move.
He was addressing the day-long National Governance Conference on “Holistic Development of Districts: Transforming Governance for Viksit Bharat”, organised by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India, in collaboration with the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
The average Grievance Redressal time for Central Government’s COVID19 Public Grievance cases stands at 1.45 days/ grievance.
