The current phase of the state level curfew in Goa is scheduled to end on July 12. While extending the curfew on July 2, Sawant had allowed reopening of restaurants and bars as well as outdoor sports complexes.
All commercial establishments must be closed by 5 p.m. across the state.
The state government, on Saturday, announced relaxations in curfew in Bareilly and Bulandshahr districts from Monday. It allowed shops and markets outside the containment zones to open for five days a week.
According to the guidelines, in the remaining 55 districts, shops will be allowed to open with strict safety protocols from 7.a.m to 7 p.m. Night curfew will continue in the whole of Uttar Pradesh and weekend closure will be enforced.
It is to be noted that Adityanath extended the Corona curfew till May 24.
Mandis are closed due to curfew and mangoes do not have a long shelf life. If the curbs continue, most people may not get to taste Dussehris. Also, the fruit may lose its taste and aroma if stored beyond a period.
