NFR joins hands with IIT Guwahati to replace plastic with compostable materials

The initiative will be formally launched on August 15, India’s 79th Independence Day, with the rollout of eco-friendly bed-roll bags across 25 trains originating from Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh. Nearly 40,000 such bags will be distributed in the pilot phase.
