To ensure a more tourist-friendly environment in Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday unveiled plans for behavioural training of tourism stakeholders based on the Rajasthan model.
Omar, who was replying to questions from reporters, said, “The Pahalgam terror attack is not our fault. All of this is done by Pakistan. Kashmiris have also tolerated this for 35 years”.
In an initiative to jointly condemn the Pahalgam terrorist attack in which at least 26 tourists were killed, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah convened an all-party meeting in Srinagar on Thursday.
Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah came under the fire from the Opposition for accompanying Union Minister Kiren Rijiju during a morning walk on Monday in the famous Tulip Garden in Srinagar.
He assured full government support in strengthening these institutions to promote a healthier society.
