This progress is reflected in the recent approval of 22 projects under the third phase of the Central Government’s Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), which includes four proposals from the state of Uttar Pradesh.
He urged the Centre to treat the issue as a matter of national security rather than isolated incidents.
This recognition reaffirms state’s strong compliance with national standards, timely achievement of coverage milestones, and effective execution at scale, reinforcing the State’s leadership in adopting data-driven, farmer-centric digital reforms, said officials from the Agriculture & Farmers' Empowerment on Friday.
The meeting, held at the Chief Minister’s residential office here, was attended by senior officials of the state government, the Union coal ministry and subsidiaries of Coal India Limited.
Members of the Congress under the leadership of its Delhi president Arvinder Singh Lovely held the demonstration outside the Income Tax office at ITO.
Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher, while talking to the media about the meeting, said "We will attend with a positive mindset. We will again put forward our demands in front of the ministers."
The Ministry of Heavy Industries said on Tuesday that the pre-bid meeting was conducted in preparation for the upcoming global tender seeking bids for the establishment of giga-scale Advanced Chemistry Cell (ACC) manufacturing facilities, cumulatively amounting to 10 GWh capacity.
"The demands of the farmers are genuine. It is the constitutional right of every citizen to make a peaceful protest. It is therefore, incorrect to arrest the farmers," AAP minister Kailash Gahlot said in his reply to the Centre.
“On the one hand, you invite the farmers to negotiate across the table while on the other, nail the roads to block their entry,” pointed out AAP leader Gopal Rai.
