This progress is reflected in the recent approval of 22 projects under the third phase of the Central Government’s Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), which includes four proposals from the state of Uttar Pradesh.
He urged the Centre to treat the issue as a matter of national security rather than isolated incidents.

The meeting, held at the Chief Minister’s residential office here, was attended by senior officials of the state government, the Union coal ministry and subsidiaries of Coal India Limited.
In the last one year, the Meetei community, an ethnic group to native Manipur, has been selectively targeted, attacked, isolated and victimized, it said.
The state government had sought a stay of investigation in FIR registered by the CBI in cases of post-poll violence in West Bengal in pursuance of the Calcutta High Court order.
The public interest plea has sought direction to the central government to consider putting in place a statutory mechanism to regulate medical intervention with intersex infants and children.
The bench had said, “Stay will not be there. We can't stay a statute like this. Notice we will issue.”
On the basis of the review, the government has made amendments under para 5.2.12 of the Consolidated FDI Policy Circular of 2020, as amended from time to time (FDI Policy).
