This progress is reflected in the recent approval of 22 projects under the third phase of the Central Government’s Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), which includes four proposals from the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The meeting, held at the Chief Minister’s residential office here, was attended by senior officials of the state government, the Union coal ministry and subsidiaries of Coal India Limited.
The Centre has launched the third round of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Specialty Steel, furthering its commitment to make India a global leader in advanced steel manufacturing.
Additionally, Rs 101.7815 crores, representing the withheld portion of the first instalment of Untied Grants for FY 2025–26, have been released to 20 eligible Zilla Parishads, 233 eligible Panchayat Samitis, and 649 eligible Gram Panchayats.
Data released by the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) said this translates to 36.5% of the Centre's Budget Estimates (BE) for FY26.
Chouhan, who inaugurated the National FPO Conclave 2025 in Delhi, said, " The Union government is taking strict action against counterfeit seeds and pesticides and will introduce stringent legislation to protect farmers."
He requested the Union Minister to provide one Doppler weather radar and 150 automated weather stations across the state before the next monsoon season to ensure early and accurate warnings of natural disasters.
