Officials said that Nangloi Metro Police Station received a call at 7:03 am about a 2014 batch constable, identified as Shahre Kishore, being found dead with a gunshot injury mark on his head on the metro station's premises.
The CISF said that when the suspect was questioned, he failed to give satisfactory answers.
The incident occurred at around 8 pm on Thursday night, when a firing sound was heard inside the toilet of Welcome Metro station.
The IGI airport police are now probing the matter and trying to trace out the person, who passed this fake information to the airport.
On inquiry, he could not produce any valid documents to carry such a huge amount of foreign currency. The passenger along with the seized amount was later handed over to the Customs officials for further action.
