According to the agency, the searches were conducted on the basis of warrants issued on May 8 by a Special CBI Court in Mumbai. Investigators have reportedly seized several incriminating documents during the operation.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted searches at the office and residence of industrialist Anil Ambani on Thursday in connection with the alleged loan fraud linked to his group company, Reliance Communications (RCOM).
Malik said that he is not scared of the raids and will continue to support the farmers.

Sisodia alleged that the raids against him were all political and had nothing to do with the alleged violations in Delhi's Excise Policy.

"Their (CBI) behaviour was good. They have not called me for any investigation yet. They have seized my computer and personal phone. They have also taken away some files," Sisodia said.
The CBI today raided 21 places across the seven states of India in connection with the CBI's investigation into the alleged irregularities in the formulation and execution of the Delhi Excise Policy brought in November 2021. The CBI has also registered an FIR in this connection.
