PM Modi appreciated the participation of Prime Minister Bektenov in the AI Impact Summit, which, he said, underscores the shared commitment of both nations to leverage technology for social good, and economic growth, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.
President Macron will undertake an official visit to India from February 17 to 19 at the invitation of Prime Minister Modi.
This would be the PM’s third visit to Malaysia, and the first after the elevation of the India-Malaysia bilateral relationship to a ‘Comprehensive Strategic Partnership’, in August 2024.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, "Glad to speak with President Lula. We reviewed the strong momentum in the India-Brazil Strategic Partnership, which is poised to scale new heights in the year ahead.
Later, Jaishankar wrote in a social post on X, "A pleasure meeting Senator Steve Daines this morning in Delhi. A wide ranging and open discussion on our bilateral relationship and its strategic significance."
"Had a great exchange of views with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim of Malaysia. India and Malaysia will continue to work together to diversify bilateral cooperation," Modi said in a post on X, highlighting the positive outcome of the meeting.
The meeting focused on reviewing progress on the India–EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and strengthening bilateral trade and investment relations.
A statement from the Ministry of Defence stated that Singh will address the forum on ‘Reflection on 15 years of ADMM-Plus and Charting the Way Forward’.
The key highlight of Singh’s visit will be the bilateral discussions with his Australian counterpart.
