Launched during Yoga Mahotsav 2026 by Union Minister of State for Ayush Prataprao Jadhav, the initiative brings the timeless knowledge of yoga into the cabin, transforming an airline seat into a space for rejuvenation.
In a major step toward the global integration of traditional healthcare, the WHO organised the two-day Technical Project Meeting on Traditional Medicine (TM) intervention code set development here on December 20–21.
The Ayush Pavilion features holistic wellness solutions rooted in Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa and Homoeopathy.
The event brought together ambassadors, high commissioners, and senior diplomats for a briefing on the Summit’s vision, global health relevance, and avenues for international collaboration on evidence-based traditional medicine.
During the campaign, the Ministry achieved significant progress—disposing of 658 public grievances and 59 appeals, and resolving two references from Members of Parliament.
He further asserted the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Ayush and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to make these nutritious meals part of daily diets.
Speaking at the inauguration, Jadhav said, "The Ministry of Ayush is committed to creating centres of excellence that synergise traditional wisdom with modern medicine. 'Prayas' is a model of integrative rehabilitation, offering not just treatment but renewed quality of life and hope for patients and their families."
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, the minister outlined the plan for the day-long event.
As part of this effort, Ayush institutes, research councils, and national organisations will step up cleanliness drives across campuses and public areas, including herbal gardens, water bodies, bus stations, and community spaces.
The event will be hosted by All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa on September 23.
