The Indian National Congress has announced the launch of a statewide public outreach initiative titled ‘Samvidhan Samvaad,’ under which the party will organise 30 rallies across Uttar Pradesh over the next 100 days to raise public awareness about constitutional values and democratic rights.
Congress's National General Secretary and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Avinash Pandey, announced on Monday that a churning was underway within the party to strengthen it at the grassroots level for a major political fight in future.
Pandey noted that the people of Raebareli and Amethi have been associated with the Gandhi family for generations, adding that the sentiments of Congress leaders and workers have been conveyed to the central leadership.
