In a comprehensive update on the fertilizer sector, the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers announced that the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) of Di-ammonium Phosphate (DAP) has been maintained at a stable Rs 1350 per 50 kg bag.

In a written reply, Union Minister Anupriya Patel said, “More than 700 cough syrup manufacturers have been subjected to an intense audit in coordination with state authorities. Increased market surveillance sampling of syrup formulations by Central and State drug regulators has also been done.”
