Two men, after consuming ‘Ganja’ calling it ‘Bhole ka Prasad’, slit the child’s throat, while performing Pooja rituals. It was revealed that the child was sacrificed by the accused persons to get prosperity in their life.
"During enquiry, it was learnt that the deceased took an hour's break from his ward before allegedly committing suicide. Further enquiry is underway," said the officer.
The student was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre, where she succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.
