Under this initiative, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed for the establishment of a 1 gigawatt (GW) High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) hub. On Thursday, YEIDA CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh handed over the Letter of Intent to representatives of AM Group.
Riding high on Google’s investment in Visakhapatnam for an AI hub, Lokesh said there were quite a few double-engine governments in the country, but only one double-engine bullet train ‘sarkar’, referring to the TDP-led NDA government in AP.
The centre has been established in partnership with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), which will provide infrastructure and IT support, while Army personnel will oversee its operations.
