In another step to enhance citizen convenience, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has allowed people to add or update their email ID in Aadhaar directly through the Aadhaar App, eliminating the need to visit an Aadhaar centre.
It is reported that around 10,000 Bangladesh nationals are living in various parts of Kerala with fake documents under the guise of migrant workers from West Bengal.
The initiative will help residents identify Aadhaar Centres based on the nature of services offered, like adult enrolment, child enrolment or only address and mobile update

There have been reports of the government being in final stages of coming out with a law to link Aadhaar with property.
