WWE: SummerSlam a jam-packed summer!

WWE's biggest summer event, SummerSlam is just a few days away and the match card so far is jam-packed with many matches scheduled!

Post brand split, WWE's second brand extension, the fans get to see a number of pay-per-views which are exclusive to Smackdown and Raw. But that's not the same about the Big Four pay-per-views of the company, Wrestlemania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series and Royal Rumble, as these events feature matches from both the brands making the match card a jam-packed affair to watch!

While pay-per-views like SummerSlam is a plus point for the company as many of the biggest superstars feature in the same night, it also leads to a lengthy event for the fans to attend!

The WWE universe is not a big time fan of lengthy matches unless it's the historic Wrestlemania 28 match between Triple H and The Undertaker, as long matches tend to draw the attention from the crowd, as the fans leave the arena if the event goes on for hours and hours.  

One similar incident happened in July at Battleground, where some of the fans walked out because of the event's lengthy duration and not so entertaining affair!

With still a week to go for the event and so many prominent angles like Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs Cesaro and Sheamus that might just grab the spot on the card, you can expect over four hours to attend, just like Wrestlemania 33!

But the interesting part of this pay-per-view is that, few exceptions aside, every match in the lineup has intriguing story angles and stars that can carry the match to the level of a big PPV like SummerSlam!

So far, the match card is as follows:

Jinder Mahal(C) vs Shinsuke Nakamura. WWE Championship

AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens (Shane McMahon as the special guest refree). WWE United States Championship

Naomi(C) vs Natalya. Smackdown Women's Championship

John Cena vs Baron Corbin

Randy Orton vs Rusev

The New Day(C) vs The Usos. Smackdown Tag Team Championship

Big Show vs Big Cass with Enzo Amore suspended above the ring in a shark cage.

Alixa Bliss(C) vs Sash Banks or/and Nia Jax. Raw Women's Championship

Finn Balor vs Bray Wyatt

Neville vs Akira Tozawa (/w Titus'O Niel). WWE Cruiserweight Championship
