Virat Kohli, who was rested from the recently concluded Asia cup 2018 in September, has been once again rested by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) from the ongoing three-match T20I series against West Indies.

Kohli will return to field duties in November when Men-in-Blue will travel to Down Under for two months long Australia tour.

Recently, Kohli became the fastest to score 10,000 runs in the One Day International (ODI) by surpassing batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar. While Tendulkar has taken 259 innings to reach the mark of 10,000 runs, Virat Kohli reached the same feat in 205 ODI innings.
