T20 World Cup 2026 Tickets Explained: How to buy Semi-final and Final tickets

Tickets for the semi-finals and final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will go on sale at 7:00 PM IST on Tuesday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed in an official release, with fans expected to rush for seats for the tournament’s biggest matches.

Fans can book tickets for Semi-final 1 on March 4, Semi-final 2 on March 5, and the final on March 8 as the competition heads into its decisive knockout phase.

India are currently placed in Group A of the Super 8s alongside West Indies, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, while Pakistan are in Group B with England, New Zealand, and co-hosts Sri Lanka. The top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals.

With qualification scenarios still wide open, venue uncertainty for the first semi-final and the final adds another layer of intrigue as supporters scramble to secure tickets.

T20 World Cup 2026: Venue scenarios explained

While Semi-final 2 has a fixed venue at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, both Semi-final 1 and the final are subject to conditional venue arrangements, depending on which teams qualify.

Semi-final 1 (March 4):

• Will be played at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, if Pakistan qualifies for the semi-finals.
• If Pakistan does not qualify but Sri Lanka reaches the semi-finals and is not drawn against India, the match will still be held in Colombo.
• If neither condition applies, or India is drawn against Sri Lanka, the match will be staged at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Final (March 8):

• Will be held at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, unless Pakistan qualify for the final.
• If Pakistan reach the title clash, the final will shift to Colombo.

The ICC clarified that any tickets purchased for a venue that does not end up hosting Semi-final 1 or the final will be fully refunded.
