Former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who was recently inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame, shared his old photograph with his childhood friend Vinod Kambli. The picture shared by Tendulkar is from the duo’s school days where a teenage ‘master blaster’ can be seen standing with his right hand on Kambli’s shoulders.

On Saturday, posting the picture on Twitter, Tendulkar wrote: “Kamblya, found this photo of ours from our school days. Memories came rushing back and thought of sharing this.”

Replying to Tendulkar’s tweet, Kambli went down the memory lane to recall one of the funny incidents involving the batting duo.

Kambli wrote: “This brought back memories, Master! You remember this one time when we were batting & a kite fell on the pitch. I took the kite & started flying it. You saw Achrekar Sir coming my way but didn’t tell me and we both know what happened next! Aathavtay ka?”

Tendulkar replied further to Kambli by saying: “Kasa visru shakto! Miss our playing days. Why don’t you come over, we’ll do something fun. Guys, any suggestions?”
