Kohli docked for beaching IPL code of conduct
As the KKR team celebrated the prized scalp, Kohli went up to the umpire to review the call as he felt it was a waist-high no-ball.
Rohit had made his captaincy debut in T20I against Sri Lanka in 2017.
Hitman Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian cricket team in the first T20 match against Ireland to be played in Dublin next month, as per a report in Mumbai Mirror.
On Tuesday, selectors announced Indian team for two-match T20 series against Ireland, one-off Test match against Afghanistan and ODI series against the English team in England.
Though Virat Kohli will not be available for the first T20 match against Ireland due to his commitments with county club Surrey, selectors have named Virat for both the games.

Talking about all the confusion whether Virat will play for Surrey against Yorkshire – from June 25 to 28 — or India, a source told Mirror: “If we had named a separate captain for the first T20I and Kohli for the second match, it would have led to more confusion. Obviously, Rohit Sharma would lead in the first game and Kohli will be back for the next.”
The opening T20I game against Ireland will be the fifth instance that Rohit will be leading India in the shortest format of the game.
