Sakshi, Bajrang hit out at suspended WFI for organising nationals
The WFI was suspended immediately after Sanjay, a close aide of former president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, won the elections.
On the occasion of Major Dhyan Chand’s birth anniversary, sports fraternity took to social media to remember the hockey talisman.
Notably, to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend Dhyan Chand, National Sports Day is celebrated across the country on 29 August. On this day, President of India bestows sports personalities with major awards, including Khel Ratna, Arjuna Awards, Dronacharya Awards and Dhyan Chand Award.
