Juventus forward Paulo Dybala revealed that the Bianconeri wanted to face Barcelona before the quarterfinals, according to a statement on the club website.

The Italian side trumped Barcelona 3-0 in a famous first-leg in Turin last week and on Wednesday night they shutout the Catalans, holding them to a 0-0 draw at the Nou Camp to progress to the semifinals.

"We all wanted Barcelona before the quarter-finals," exclaimed Dybala when asked about the draw for the last four.

Dybala's goals in the first leg ultimately did the damage and while he could not repeat his heroics in the second leg, he put in a solid all-round display on at the Nou Camp.

"We're delighted," said La Joya post-match. "This is a great achievement. What a night for us."

Despite enjoying an overwhelming support, Barcelona were nullified to the extent that they had just one shot on target, a testament to the Bianconeri’s superb defensive organisation.

"It wasn't easy tonight given Barcelona's history of comebacks. We were solid and keeping a clean sheet against them is no mean feat," continued the striker.

"We all wanted Barcelona before the quarter-finals," revealed Dybala when asked about the draw for the last four.

"I'm not sure now. We don't have a preferred opposition so let's see who we get, added Dybala.
