In what will be their first home match of the 2019-20 season of the Indian Super League (ISL), NorthEast United FC will lock horns with debutante Odisha FC at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati on Saturday.

Northeast began their 2019-20 season with a moral victory over Bengaluru FC. The Highlanders held the defending champions to a goalless draw in their own den in what was a stupendous display of defensive football led by the central defenders Mislav Komoroski and Kai Heerings. The Robert Jarni-managed side would now be hoping to get their first victory in front of their home crowd.
Odisha FC, on the other hand, suffered a 1-2 defeat against Jamshedpur FC in their first ever ISL match. The newbies looked slightly disorganized in their first outing and would be hoping to get themselves accustomed as soon as possible. Coach Josep Gombau should give extra attention to his defence given how they failed against a 10-man Jamshedpur and conceded a goal.
