Footballers get inked so often these days. It is difficult to keep track, and while most of them are garish, some, like Theo Walcott’s latest, are a breath of fresh air.
The jet-heeled forward, who is busy preparing for Arsenal’s Premier League season opener against Leicester, uploaded a black and white image of his back showcasing his new ink.
“Open your heart, shed fear, hate or envy, to experience everlasting joy & happiness #NewTattoo,” Walcott captioned the picture.

“Om Namah Shivay" is essentially an invokation to Lord Shiva, the Destroyer. It translates to “I offer to Shiva a prayerful invocation of His Name”.
The 2017-18 Premier League season kicks off on Friday night, with Arsenal hosting Leicester City in the season-opener and Walcott is expected to start the game at the Emirates Stadium.
