Veteran Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden believes Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the “real universe boss”.

Notably, the term ‘universal boss’ is often used for explosive West Indies batsman Chris Gayle.

On Wednesday, in the 24th match of the 11th season of Indian Premier League (IPL), former Indian skipper MS Dhoni scored an unbeaten 70 runs and guided his team to five-wicket victory over star-studded Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore.

During his 70-run knock, MS Dhoni struck seven sixes and one boundary. Stunned by MS Dhoni’s exceptional performance, Matthew Hayden took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter, and wrote, “Oh my God….please let me sleep why did you have to make @ChennaiIPL so awesome, @msdhoni the real universe boss and @RayuduAmbati Mr Iceman you have me so excited for the rest of this years @IPL I can’t sleep.”

 

Earlier on Wednesday, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (70 not out off 34 deliveries) and Ambati Rayudu’s 53-ball 83 helped Chennai Super Kings (CSK) register a thumping five-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) here on Wednesday to return to the top spot of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Chasing a massive total of 206 runs, Dhoni was at his explosive best, blasting seven sixes as the visitors won with five wickets and two deliveries to spare clash at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The veteran skipper was well supported by opener Rayudu, who slammed four boundaries and eight sixes as CSK took their points tally to 10, while RCB remained in the sixth spot with four points.
