The teaser dropped on June 12, eight days before it was supposed to. By the same afternoon, Salman Khan's lawyers were in Delhi High Court seeking an urgent stay. The director has since said he will not stop.

She died on August 2 in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Her family confirmed that she had been fighting glioma, a form of cancer that affects the central nervous system.
The production house, Sithara Entertainments, has issued a public statement on Wednesday (August 6), clarifying their stand and apologising if the film hurt anyone’s feelings.
